Canon to create first European live brand experience

Camera and printing specialist Canon is set to launch its first live brand experience in Europe today (October 12th).

The Canon Expo, which is the first European product showcase that the firm has embarked upon, will take place at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris.

Lasting for three days, the live brand experience is based on the theme We Speak Image and it is hoped that 15,000 of the company's European, Middle East and Africa partners will attend the event - as well as many Canon customers.

Split into ten separate sections, the live brand experience will showcase the latest photo, video, printing and projection technology and there will be keynote speeches from a number of Canon employees - including the company's chairman and global chief executive officer Fujio Mitarai.

Canon recently sponsored London Fashion Week, claiming that 'image' was at the heart of everything it does.

James Leipnik, chief of communication at Canon Europe, said: "We are proud to continue our association with fashion, which reflects Canon's passion for the power of the image."
