CIPD announces reward and recognition conference dates

Date: 28/09/2010

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has announced the dates of its upcoming reward and recognition conference.

According to CIPD, it has organised the event as a response to industry feedback.

It will take place in central London (venue to be confirmed) on May 25th-26th 2011.

The conference will coincide with the 2011 Reward Management survey, which will be conducted in the upcoming quarter and published next May.

CIPD claimed that the survey will delve into the key reward and recognition - and employee motivation - issues that are likely to affect industry in the coming year.

Charles Cotton, reward adviser for CIPD, said: "Reward professionals can also expect an innovative and up-to-date conference, truly addressing the nitty gritty of reward issues and their impact on key business issues such as performance and employee engagement."

Recently, Tfconnect chief executive Trevor Foley told Event magazine that businesses need to keep their employee motivation programmes fresh if they are to maintain staff engagement during the current economic uncertainty.
