Brits warm-up to head to IndigO2

The UK's biggest music awards ceremony is kicking off next month but before then, a live brand experience and taster of things to come will take place next week at the O2's IndigO2 facility.

The nominations launch party is moving to the brand new venue for what it believes will be a bigger and even more exciting warm-up for the big day, announcing nominees for the awards on Monday, January 18th before the eventual main event on February 16th.

Ged Doherty, the chairman of the Brits committee, explained that the 30th show will be a "landmark event that truly celebrates this occasion", adding that the Brits is the UK and Europe's premier music show as well as one of the biggest media events of the calendar.

He added: "The show has seen many changes in recent years and I have no doubt we will continue to build on the spectacular success of this year's show."

The IndigO2 is a 2,400-plus capacity live club for music get-togethers, after parties and other private events.
