In a bid to dramatically improve performance and morale, Aviva has announced that it is to launch a UK-wide reward and recognition scheme.
Dubbed Spotlight by its creators, the programme will allow 22,000 staff with the company to thank colleagues as well as nominate them for rewards based on the efforts and contributions they make to team building and the overall success of the workplace.
Managers then receive these and process the winners who will receive one of over 500 available gifts, ranging from cinema tickets and wine to jewellery and watches.
Rewards director at Aviva Helen Jackson said: "Spotlight is about saying thank you to everyone who displays the behaviours that live up to the Aviva brand. It is a very impressive scheme that is easy to use and implement."
Aviva recently changed from Norwich Union following a high-profile rebranding campaign which brought in the help of Ringo Starr, Alice Cooper, Dame Edna Everage and Bruce Willis.
