A recent study into the effects of absent workers on a business has highlighted the role of motivating employees in a bid to lure them out of sick days, it has been stated.
It was noted by Nic Paton of Occupational Health that absences are one of the big things sabotaging the consistent performance of many businesses, with the expert highlighting a recent survey by Axa PPP Healthcare which detailed the problems associated with absence.
Axa highlighted the fact that the psychosocial side of illness can hugely affect a person's health and as such this should be counteracted with something which could lure them back into the office, such as a recognition scheme or reward.
People interested in fighting against problematic absences may want to consult a company event organiser to get performance up in this difficult economic climate.
The Axa Group was formed in the 18th century and first assumed its current name in 1985.
