Independent eco-audit reports our overall carbon reduction 2006-2010:

Key Environmental Successes in 2010:
	92% reduction in carbon emissions from the baseline year
	Electricity consumption at 53kg/m2 is 28% better than standard good practice and 59% less than typical consumption
	Zero mains-water consumption
	Recycling rate of 66%
In 2009, we:
	Annual paper consumption of 176 reams of recycled paper saving 10 trees and  .8 tonnes of CO2
	Electricity, 67% reduction on baseline year
	Road transport CO2 emissions down 42% on baseline year.
	Carbon footprint per full time staff is down 70% since last year and 83% since the baseline year
	Electricity consumption down 53% since last year and 67% since 2006
	Electricity consumption is less than a third of average consumption and 46% better than standard good practice
63% drop in combined building/road transport fuel emissions from baseline year
Since 2006, we:
	Reduced electricity consumption by 67%, and by switching to electricity from Ecotricity's renewable energy, our electricty carbon footprint is 0!
	Switched our fleet vehicles to LPG fuel and installed an LPG depot onsite. This alongside eco-driving for staff has meant transport emissions have fallen by 33%
	Provided recycling and compost bins across the company. Our recycling rate is now 66% - close to the best rates in Europe (70%)!
	Drilled an on-site water borehole, meaning that future imported water consumption should fall from around 1,000,000 litres to zero!
	Exchanged 90% of lighting on-site for environmentally friendly bulbs
	Developed 3 environmental awareness events to help other businesses reduce their carbon impact: Green Berets, Green Light and Global Warning

MotivAction is committed to creating and providing a sustainable business. As well as working towards BS8901 British Standard for sustainable events, we have implemented a 'Going Green' strategy to reduce the company's impact on the environment. After reducing the company's carbon footprint, we invested in carbon offsets from our partner Climate Care - and so became carbon neutral.
