Induction Programmes
We can design an induction programme for your company or department. We will work with you to ensure that the messages you want your people to hear are delivered, and your culture is reflected.
We can work with specific needs such as inductions for colleagues coming to the UK for the first time.
From school leavers to CEOs, we can design a package that will help your people realise they made the right choice.
We believe in sustainability when it comes to training. We can run a Train the Trainer event and provide ongoing support for your induction programmes.

An example of our Induction programmes:

Background and Objectives
Multi-national consultancy company Celerant implement the induction of 200 new consultants per year. On this occasion, the company required something new and completely different to their traditional programme. Their aim was to help convey and
demonstrate to new recruits specific company values and
behaviours including integrity, honesty, results focus
and collaboration.
Planning and Preparation
Utilising the direction and creativity developed through
meetings with Celerant, the MotivAction team took an initial idea from the client concerned with ‘kidnapping the CEO’, and
designed and developed a three day, two night programme.
MotivAction prepared and co-ordinated the features of the
programme so that the experience was high on learning, intensity and facilitation.
The Event
Day One
An inductee meeting was stormed by an ‘SAS training team’,
announcing that the client’s CEO had been kidnapped and that the inductees were charged with the hostage release. In order to release the CEO, they were required to attend a boot camp at MotivAction’s Leadership Education Centre: Bluntswood.
Whilst taking on several learning and development challenges at Bluntswood, the new recruits learned to demonstrate the Celerant behaviours and developed their own communication,
lateral thinking, logic and teamwork skills.
Performances in the final exercise was awarded with credits, which could be redeemed for food, sleeping equipment and entertainment as the group camped in Bluntswood’s woodland – a great way to foster team spirit, communication and knowledge sharing
Day Two
A senior Celerant manager arrived to brief the inductees in the
hostage release mission. This was a combination of education and action activities, featuring leadership challenges alongside
motorised equipment, bridge building and paintballing games.
Later, the team was tasked to cook and serve the evening meal at a hotel - preparing the food and dining room, selecting the wines and entertaining the guests with networking knowledge of Celerant.
Day Three
The final day of the programme utilised a team film-making
exercise to encapsulate the specific Celerant behaviours developed during the induction. MotivAction’s ‘News 24’ challenge led the inductees to write and produce their own news broadcast, which was then critiqued by each other and by the senior management.
Results and Outcomes
The programme yielded a great deal of leadership, communication and results focus learning. The result was a highly experiential
induction that efficiently prepared participants for their task ahead whilst reducing the attrition rate for the client – thereby making the
programme more effective. The client has already booked a second stage to the programme, where the lessons learned will be
developed and expanded on.
